We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium, Java, and API automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks for UI and API testing, along with exposure to mobile automation using Appium. You will be responsible for ensuring software quality through efficient test automation strategies while working closely with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber and TestNG for behavior-driven and unit testing.
• Work on Page Object Model (POM) design patterns to enhance automation maintainability.
• Leverage C# as a secondary skill for cross-functional automation needs.

API Testing & Automation

• Design and develop API automation tests using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Perform validation of RESTful web services and ensure API performance and security.
• Implement automated API test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

Mobile Automation

• Develop and execute mobile test automation scripts using Appium for Android and iOS applications.
• Ensure compatibility across different mobile devices and platforms.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Implement test automation within CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into build and deployment processes.

Test Management & Reporting

• Utilize JIRA and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Integrate Zephyr for efficient test case management (added advantage).
• Provide detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, BDD (Cucumber), and TestNG.
• Hands-on expertise in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman.
• Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) for scalable automation.
• Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA.

Good to Have

• Experience with Zephyr integration for test case management.
• Exposure to C# for automation scripting.
