Are you a testing professional with a passion for automation and innovation? Emerson invites you to be part of a global System Integration Team operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) organization. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of world-class process control products spanning web, cloud, PC, and embedded platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Testing Leadership. Develop and implement testing strategies, balancing manual and automated tests, including UI automation, functional, performance, and load testing.
- Automation Development. Build automated test frameworks and cases to ensure robust and efficient testing.
- Execution and Reporting. Run comprehensive manual and automated test suites, reporting results effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication. Work seamlessly with technical and non-technical teams, offering insights and innovative solutions.
- Continuous Improvement. Innovate and optimize team quality and productivity. Embrace new learning opportunities to stay current in the field.
- Agile Practices. Participate in agile ceremonies and drive a culture of relentless improvement within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Coded UI, or TestStack.White.
- Proficiency in programming languages, C#, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Experience with DevOps, including Azure DevOps Pipelines, TFS, MTM, and GIT.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare).
- Track record of developing detailed, effective test plans and frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile Development Practices and Scrum Testing Techniques.
- Experience in maintaining and using test case management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
