Job Description

Are you a testing professional with a passion for automation and innovation? Emerson invites you to be part of a global System Integration Team operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) organization. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of world-class process control products spanning web, cloud, PC, and embedded platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Testing Leadership. Develop and implement testing strategies, balancing manual and automated tests, including UI automation, functional, performance, and load testing.
  2. Automation Development. Build automated test frameworks and cases to ensure robust and efficient testing.
  3. Execution and Reporting. Run comprehensive manual and automated test suites, reporting results effectively to stakeholders.
  4. Collaboration and Communication. Work seamlessly with technical and non-technical teams, offering insights and innovative solutions.
  5. Continuous Improvement. Innovate and optimize team quality and productivity. Embrace new learning opportunities to stay current in the field.
  6. Agile Practices. Participate in agile ceremonies and drive a culture of relentless improvement within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Coded UI, or TestStack.White.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, C#, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with DevOps, including Azure DevOps Pipelines, TFS, MTM, and GIT.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare).
  • Track record of developing detailed, effective test plans and frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Practices and Scrum Testing Techniques.
  • Experience in maintaining and using test case management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
