As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating customer solutions throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your work will focus on engineering robust information systems with software as a primary component, ensuring they meet specified business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development. Engage in designing, developing, and integrating automation solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Problem Solving. Employ critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Results Delivery. Ensure results align with customer expectations and project objectives.
- Knowledge Sharing. Maintain clear communication regarding all aspects of the automation applications, including code, architecture, security parameters, and user credentials.
- Partner Collaboration. Keep all stakeholders informed about any changes or new factors affecting the automation applications.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in Groovy, JavaScript, and ExtJS.
- Familiarity with Multithreading and agile tools like JIRA.
- Experience in software development, preferably on UNIX/Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, particularly SQL, is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of packet networking, development experience in this area is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of mobile telecommunication networks and their architecture is an added advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
