As an Automation Architect at Infosys, you will spearhead the development and implementation of automation strategies for large-scale enterprise projects. Your role will involve designing and optimizing test automation frameworks using a variety of tools, leading teams through complex automation challenges, and ensuring that our solutions meet the dynamic needs of our clients. You will be instrumental in shaping automation practices, driving agile and DevOps transformations, and enhancing overall testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies and frameworks for large-scale enterprises.
• Lead the creation and refinement of automation models, ensuring alignment with client needs and technology landscapes.
• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, TOSCA, HPMC, and UFT to drive efficiency and accuracy in testing.
• Oversee API/Microservices testing and automation, leveraging tools like Rest Assured and Postman for robust test solutions.
• Champion the shift-left approach and integrate automation within Agile and DevOps practices.
• Manage CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, and BitBucket, enhancing continuous integration and delivery workflows.
• Mentor and lead a team of automation testers, including managing onshore and offshore team dynamics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation adoption and improve test coverage.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA, AI/ML in QA, and GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Recommend and implement new tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality in testing.

Qualifications

1. Experience. 8-12 years in IT with a focus on QA Automation. Tertiary Qualification in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
2. Technical Proficiency. Expertise in automation tools (Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman), scripting languages (Java, Python), and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Bamboo).
3. Frameworks. Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity) and unit testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
4. Automation Tools. Proficiency in UI automation (Selenium, UFT One, Playwright), API testing (Rest Assured, Postman), and service virtualization (Mockoon, CA Lisa).
5. Leadership. Ability to lead and mentor automation teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive test automation initiatives.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to latest trends like RPA, analytics-driven testing, and AI/ML applications in QA.
• Knowledge of Playwright Automation Tool and mobile automation solutions (UFT Mobile).
