Job Description

Google software engineers drive the development of next-generation technologies that revolutionize how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and each other. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in C/C++ or Python programming and Machine Learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Signal Processing, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
  • 3 years of experience with AI/ML algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), deep learning, or natural language processing.
  • Experience in audio, speech, machine learning, DSP, and embedded systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. 

Responsibilities

  1. Machine Learning Projects. Lead and contribute to machine learning projects focused on speech and audio applications. Utilize techniques such as Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to advance capabilities in these domains.
  2. Performance Optimization. Engage in memory and performance optimization to ensure efficient deployment of machine learning models on Google hardware devices.
  3. Collaboration. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Research teams, and Software Engineers to understand machine learning requirements and deliver solutions that enhance user experiences.
  4. Deployment and Testing. Work alongside Tools and Architecture teams to streamline deployment, validation, and testing processes specific to Google hardware devices.
  5. Model Development. Design and develop machine learning models tailored for Google hardware devices, ensuring robust performance and integration.
