Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Associate Software Engineers who are eager to explore new technologies and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, data-driven, and secure applications. As part of the Digital Product Technology (DPT) team, you will be involved in creating and managing components critical to customer-facing channels, reporting, and analysis. These components include web applications, microservices, DevOps pipelines, batch jobs, and data streams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Development. Design, implement, test, and support Java/Spring and JavaScript (React.js, Angular.js, JQuery.js) based applications and services.
  2. Requirements Analysis. Contribute to reviewing and analyzing business requirements.
  3. Code Integrity. Ensure adherence to code integrity standards and best practices.
  4. Performance Optimization. Identify and resolve issues related to web performance, usability, and scalability.

What You Will Need

  • Experience. 0-6 months of post-college experience in software engineering, API development, or related fields.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Java/Spring framework development and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming with design patterns.
  • Knowledge in designing and developing web applications and microservices using Java, JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular), Docker, SQL, and Jenkins Pipeline.
  • Familiarity with enterprise RDBMS systems like Postgres or Oracle.
  • Experience with DevOps and collaboration tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Problem-Solving. Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ownership. High level of ownership and accountability in delivering solutions.
