Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for expanding the customer base within a specified geographical territory. This involves face-to-face interactions with potential customers, primarily focusing on businesses with annual revenues ranging from INR 3.5 cr to INR 600 cr. The role requires collaboration with senior executives to secure new accounts and deliver innovative business solutions using American Express products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting. Use various methods, such as cold calling and in-person meetings, to secure profitable sales while maintaining integrity and adherence to company values.
  2. Pipeline Management. Create and manage a pipeline of prospective customers, turning leads into prospects and effectively managing opportunities within the territory.
  3. Client Solution. Understand customer requirements, develop solutions, and leverage product specialists to meet customer needs while maintaining a high level of knowledge about American Express products and processes.
  4. Negotiation and Closing. Successfully negotiated and moved prospects through the acquisition cycle, securing necessary signatures and delivering on projected charge volume.
  5. Compliance. Ensure adherence to the American Express Code of Conduct, Sales Practices policies, and regulatory requirements in all interactions.
