Job Description

As part of the Applied Research arm of Microsoft Security AI Research (MSECAIR), you will contribute to innovative projects aimed at creating cutting-edge security solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and privacy policies throughout research and data collection processes.
  • Work collaboratively with product stakeholders to contribute to components of security products.
  • Identify and apply research-backed solutions for various technical challenges.
  • Prepare and clean data for analysis and model training, ensuring quality and relevance.
  • Assist in developing machine learning pipelines and applying statistical analysis to improve solutions.
  • Contribute to the documentation of research findings and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field with relevant internship experience
  • Master’s Degree in a related field, OR
  • Equivalent professional experience.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience, OR
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field with applied experience.
