As an Application Developer at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet the business process and application requirements of our clients. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in Node.js and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application development and integration.

This role involves independent work, problem-solving, and an active contribution to team discussions, making you a key player in the application development process. Additionally, you will provide guidance to junior team members and help troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure applications based on business requirements.
• Build and implement software solutions using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., front-end developers, business analysts, and designers) to ensure the smooth integration of various components of the application.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, resolving issues to improve functionality and performance.
• Ensure applications are optimized for scalability and speed.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, contributing solutions to work-related problems and challenges.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new tools and practices to improve application development processes.
• Strong focus on building RESTful APIs and leveraging microservices architecture.
• Work with database technologies like MongoDB or MySQL to integrate backend solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with databases, including MongoDB, MySQL, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js and relevant application development.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a focus on computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• 15 years of full-time education (e.g., 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 educational pattern).
