We are seeking an API Test Engineer to join our Observability team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in advancing our vision of monitoring as code and enhancing the overall performance of our monitoring systems. You will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to implement effective monitoring solutions that support our applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated testing strategies for APIs, ensuring robust functionality and performance.
• Write and maintain Selenium scripts for Synthetics to perform end-to-end testing.
• Utilize Postman for testing API connections and ensuring authentication via tokens.
• Develop Python scripts to scrape API data and convert it for use in AppDynamics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate monitoring solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Support the observability platform by processing upward of 100,000 requests per minute and maintaining system efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in developing Selenium scripts and utilizing Postman for automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in working with APIs and understanding API architecture.
• Experience developing Python scripts for scraping and processing API data.
• Familiarity with operating in an enterprise environment, handling high-scale requests.
• Knowledge of AppDynamics or similar monitoring tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
