As an AI Engineer in IBM Client Engineering team, you'll use the watsonx platform to develop and deploy AI systems. You will create pilots for clients, drive innovation, and contribute to IBM growth. Your role will involve working with technical leaders and driving client engagements with a focus on delivering AI solutions efficiently.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Proof of Concept (POC) Development. Develop and implement POCs to showcase the effectiveness of AI solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements.
- Collaboration and Project Management. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of AI solutions. Communicate project progress and risks effectively.
- Customer Engagement and Support. Act as a technical contact for clients, providing support and guidance during solution deployment.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing. Document solution architectures, implementation details, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Industry Trends and Innovation. Stay updated with AI advancements and emerging technologies to assess their impact on solution design.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Understanding of Foundation Models and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Proficiency with cloud technologies, particularly Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Ability to create and evaluate AI solutions.
- Excellent command of English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing AI solutions with a focus on foundation models and large language models.
- Experience in NLP and text analytics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
