As an Active Directory Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our Active Directory infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting, configuration, and security management to ensure seamless operations across multiple networks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Active Directory Management. Create and manage directory infrastructure, including FSMO roles, domain trusts, Kerberos, and replication topology.
2. Installation and Troubleshooting. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory (2008/2012) and Azure Active Directory, including O365 integration.
3. Scripting and Automation. Develop and manage scripts in PowerShell (v3.0 – v5.0) for automation tasks.
4. Group Policy Management. Create, manage, and enforce Group Policies, understanding GPO precedence and blocking.
5. Network Security. Monitor and report on the reliability and security of the domain, ensuring compliance with best practices.
6. DNS and WSUS Management. Troubleshoot DNS configurations and manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
7. Client Support. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and team members.

Qualifications

1. Technical Skills. Proficient in Active Directory concepts, including security groups, delegation, OU structure, and object types.
2. Experience. Hands-on experience with manual permission management, schema updates, and DFS/DFSR technologies.
3. Problem-Solving. Strong troubleshooting skills related to OS infrastructure, patching, KMS activation, and licensing.
