XML auto problem

Dear Friends, I have following problem. I am using for xml auto clause in my stored procedure which is returning data in xml format. Now when I am try to retrieve this data from the stored procedure, it gives following error. The root element is missing. I have checked xml result set generated by the query. It is not right. I mean there is a tag called . This tag is not getting generated properly. it is generating as follows. . i.e. There is one extra space created between e and n which is causing this error. (As the xml string is not well formatted it giving this error) Is there any size limitation when we use xml auto clause? Can anybody help me please. Please reply at your earliest. Regards Amol
