Xamarin Simple MasterDetail Page

Question

I'm using simple master detail page. in detail page have some fields and save buttton . after saving controls goes t master page where i have defined a listview to view the saved data. so when i click a data controls goes to master page having that data , i have to edit it and update it .

how will i differ which  one is save and update ??
