Work you are proud of (work related)

In one of my interviews, several years ago, I was asked this question.

"Tell me, something you have developed that you are proud of (work related)."

So have you developed anything or solved any problem that you are proud of and you think like "Wow", I really did that.

We faced an issue in Anonymous account when we migrated our application from IIS 6 to IIS7. Implementation team done lot of R&D and they couldnt solved that issue, finally it came to our architecture team.

When an issue came to our team, there will be a competition like who will fix the issue first. It will be quiet interesting at that time. Finally I found the fix for that issue.

In IIS 6, anonymous account name will be IUSR_ComputerName, whereas in IIS 7 its changed to IUSR.

When we replace that in code, application worked perfectly.

Yes I too did that. That will be the happiest moment in your career life. We will be very much proud of ourselves.

You will get the Job Satisfaction at that moment.
