Windows application to download files in zipped format from supplied path (using c sharp)

Hi, i am trying to create a windows forms application to download files from a given path in zipped format. The language used is c sharp. I am a beginner and explored on internet but i could only find codes for ASP.NET. Any inputs will be help full.
