windows 8 app, how to make the progress ring delay for 6 seconds?

Question

i am developing a windows  8 app and i want in my app a progress ring to rotate for 6 seconds and then navigate to next page.

 how can i achieve this..

actually when  i wrote the code for progress ring in button click event it is working but  i wrote both progress ring active code and then navigate to other code respectively.

so in between the code of progress ring active and navigation to other page please refer me the code to delay the execution for 6 seconds..
