Why to Use Angular JS for Cloud based Multi tenancy web App

Question

I have to develop and cloud based multi tenancy web based solution with android app as well , now I checked that most of the sites are using Angular JS instead of simple Javascript / JQuery , So can anyone let me know that why should i use  Angular js , what are the core features which can be done just by angular js which can not be done by angular js.
