Why .net 4 website does not run smoothly in IE 11?

Question

Website created using asp.net4.0 does not run smoothly in IE11.
Following are the issues while using IE11
1. Controls focus mehtod is not working.
2. Submit button click event is not fired.
3. While using Html Editor, color dialog box are opened automatically. Generally when I click on toolbar button , it should open color dialog box.

Please help me in this regard.
