Why lot of versions of dot net

Question

After getting news of Microsoft is ready to introduce new version of dot net and after visiting this site I am giving my following comments

Why Microsoft publishes their version so early, even their last version did not get hold they introduce to us new version, how many years(we can count in days) passed releasing vs 2010. this is not done. this mean i am not happy with their functionality which they are providing. I love vs. Only i want t say in short that they should take their time and release version giving all functions at the most time. how many version java has published since launching still it is popular. I am not comparing here java and dot net
