Which protocol to use?
Feb 13 2014 1:11 PM
Hi.
I have a big doubt about which protocol to use WCF. Could you help me?
We developed an application in Silverlight with WCF company using netTcpBinding hosted in IIS protocol. Everything is on the same machine, IE + WCF application.
Within the intranet everything is working well. Use duplex sockets and several other features.
Now I need to access the system from my house.
We did the router configuration so that accessing an IP address + port, it redirects to the application. Until here all right, the application opens, but WCF does not work.
The big question: In this scenario need to change the protocol I'm using (NetTcpBinding)? Or the error should be on how the application is calling wcf?
If you have to change the protocol, which would be ideal for the internet duplex features?
