Where to start

Question

First of all I want to introduce myself. My name is Gaurav Kumar basically from dehradun, uttarakhand and working in new delhi. I am working with a NGO since December 2008 to present as a program associate - IT. Here I have developed their in-house web application based on .net framework 2.0, 3.5. Now I am maintaining those. Here I am only the person who is responsible all things like coding,designing database etc. I made mistakes in those previous year, that I didn't update myself according to the technologies up-gradation and here is nothing to improve or update as it's an NGO and I am only the person who belongs to this subset of IT. I faced many interviews but I didn't get through anyone of them, because of outdated profile. Now (so late) I got to know that I need to update myself. But there are many things to update.
