Where to find programming challenges for VB .Net 2010?

I haven't programmed much in years and due to that my skills have suffered a lot. I want to program a lot now, I want to make games (not necessarily with VB but I'm using it because I just read a book on it and I like it), but I need to improve my skills. What I need is a book or a website geared for VB, which has a list of possible challenges(problems, exercises, homework, etc.) that can be solved in VB, and are structured for improving your skills. I don't want anything math heavy, I only know Algebra 1, and I'm not too good with math at the moment. It should start from really simple and easy for a programmer, then get more difficult and build on different programming areas (if statements, for...next loops, do...while loops, events, etc.). In school we had a book on VB which had these exercises, and it was really good at improving our skills, but I don't know what its name was. All I know is it had a black, white, and blue cover, with no graphics and this was in 2005. Maybe someone could find this book for me, I haven't been able to.
