When we should use the AWS Lambda?

One should use AWS Lambda to achieve some specific task such as automation, Image sharing etc.

For example, for some client I have to take Redshift snapshot every week at some fixed time. To achieve this you can write a lambda code to automatically create snapshot of the cluster. 

Aws Lambda is serverless, You only have to write the code and run it.

If your goal is to save some bucks it's for you.

3)AWS Lambda executes your code only when needed and scales automatically.

5)you retain ownership and full control over it(Amazon EC2) which other cloud platform you may not get it.
