when i clik the dropdown list the data to be displayed in details view

Question

i have done a simple application for employee details.

the fileds are as follows:

id,name,age,dob,area,mobile and phone etc.

when i click the id the particular employee id details is displayed in gridview. i done using gridview it is working.

and i want when i click the id  the particular employeed id detils of phone only to be displayed in detailview how to do.

please help me,
