what will happens if one of the packet get lost in DHCP?

Hi,
I want to know while in DHCP(uses UDP) client ask DHCP servers to give IP adresses .so the question is this: what will happen if one of the packet while client and DHCP servers send packets to each other get lost ? what will DHCP or Client do for solve this?
