What to learn before to do Programming

Hi all,

I am having exp in asp.net .. But some of my fri tellling learn from basics.. As i know c, c++ is the basic for the programming ..

But, Somebody telling before u start to develop u need to study some logics and maths like algorithms and all .. Whether anybody have any suggestion means please tell me..???
