What should i do?

My company is currently working on a crypto currency exchange site for about 8 months. i joined them as an internee thinking there will be a lot to learn about blockchain, how it works etc. unfortunately, it is more than 6 months but i have not seen a glimpse of that application untill few days back. I realise now that there is no such implementation of blockchain in that exchange except calling few API like Nbitcoin. Now the question is What should i do? they asked me to sign a 1 year agreement before i can work on application and start exploring the code etc. Should i look for some other oppurtunity? or should i sign the contract? I want to ask the expert if i stay, will that help me in skill development of blockchain and not only related to btc?
