What is the difference between WCF and WPF

I'd like to crearte an application that runs both on the desktop and on the internet. Is there a Visual Studio framework type that will do this?

Hello They are two total different things : WCF is Windows communication Foundation, it offers you the possibility to create services and Api with some advantages like the adaptability to several protocols. WPF is Windows Presentation Foundation and it's based on xaml. It specific for the UI of the desktop application. Probably not entirely but perhaps Xamarin. .NET MAUI applications can execute in Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. It is expected to execute in Linux too but it does not yet. You can develop .Net Class Libraries that can be shared among ASP.Net applications and other applications and then the majority of your code is just one source.
