A framework or software framework is a platform for developing software applications. API framework is a foundation on which software developers can build applications for a specific platform. Example: A framework can include predefined classes and functions that can be used to process input, manage hardware devices and interact with system software. The framework is similar to an Application Programming Interface, technically framework includes API. The framework serves as the foundation for programming while API provides access to the elements supported by the framework. The framework also includes code libraries, compilers,s and other programs used in the software development process. framework is skeleton with guidelines to follow. Some premises follow internal approved framework to apply the project.. Api is one which is connect or expose interface to consumer. In simple term, Framework is rules to follow traffic, api is how you travel or deliver efficiently :)
