What if browser disabled javascript? Json

Dear experts,

I am reading up on loading Json data using jQuery AJAX ...

One question come into my mind...what if the user disabled their javascript function ?

Pardon me but I am away from web development for near 6 years till recently return to the scene

So, is this a problem or it doesn't matter nowadays?

Hope someone can let me know and if this is a real problem how is it overcome ?
