Web Application - In need of help

Question

I am doing a Bachelor's degree in Business/computing, and all I have been taught at university, is advanced pascal, some very basic c and some basic java (with regards to programming). Now I am in my final year and I am expected to make a real time web application. I could use whatever I want, however I took some suggestions and my decision was to use Visual Studio 2005, ASP.net and c#. However I can't grip , time is passing, and Im going crazy. Suggestions ? Ideas ? Thanks a million P.S. If this thread is not appropriate, please delete it I can understand.
