VMR9, Plug- in Compositor/Allocator-Presenter, Which is best ?
Dec 26 2003 1:39 PM
Greetings Everybody, I have been making some non-linear app for video for a while and been thru with the 2d stuff which DES provides. For some 3D kind of material in the form of effects, transitions, I read the SDK and come to know using VMR9 if at particular points I render my timeline on to it. I can get this. From What I have experimented and what I have read, there are 2 ways to make video as texture onto a direct3d device using VMR9 to make high-end effect etc. (a) By plug-in compositor for the VMR9 (b) By Plug-in a custom allocator-presenter for the VMR9, I am not sure which way to move from here, to make something what I require, rendering time to a file is no problem for me. Expecting some instant help. Best Regards Sudhaom
