visual studio 2010

Oct 7 2011 10:12 AM

I have a question about using the professional version of visual studio.net 2008 and 2010 on the same windows 7 workstation. My company bought two msdn visual studio.net licenses for me. I orginally was working with Visual studio.net 2008 and everything was working fine. Five months later I installed visual studio.net 2010 to start writing new applications.

Now when I go back to visual studio.net 2008 to work on the older code, I have lost the 'configuration manager' from the menu bar. I have lost other default options. I have done a windows reset but this did not help.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can the configration manager to show up again? Would I pick something from the 'view' on the menu bar? if so, what option would I select?
