Visual Studio Tools For Office

Question

I have tryed to do a smarttag , I have reed alot about Visual Studio Tools for office and i would like to use them, but the problem is when i go to open new project i can not see any office project or word template, 

I run Visual Studio 2005, I tryed to import Microsoft.Office.Tools.Word but i get following error:

The type or namespace name 'Tools' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.Office' (are you missing an assembly reference?) 

do i have to download som packets? (Visual Studio Tools for office) but where and what?

I have been searching for them but not success.

do i have to have office 2007?
