Visual Basic 2005 - Help! w Datagrid control

Question

Hello, I am new to Visual Basic 2005. I am building a Windows application with Visual Basic 2005 Express that uses a SQL Server 2005 Express database. Created a form with the Datagrid control. When I click the save button, the form appears to save the data. If I close the form, and open it again, the data was not saved. When I created the data source, VB generated the Insert and Update code and SQL, and no code is supposed to be needed to use the control (according to Microsoft help info.). I tried the same application, but with Access 2003, using the same SQL Server 2005 Express database, and it works fine. Data is saved without a problem. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
