Versioing problem
Jun 26 2009 3:43 AM
Hello, I developed a C#. NET desktop application some months which uses MySQL in the backend and MySQL Net Connector version 5.2.3.0 to connect to MySQL database. I created the setup using Visual Studio and then deployed it. I accidently deleted its source code but now just have the installer with me ( :(( ). I have to migrate the software to a differen machine. When I try to install it, it throws an error saying that it could not locate MySQL connector version 5.2.3.0 in GAC. I donot have this version as it is no longer available on MySQL site and the current version for connector is 6.0.4. I was wondering is there any way to overcome this problem ?
