VB.net, C++.net or C#.net??
May 25 2005 11:35 AM
I have been a VB developer for approximately 10 years now and have been developing in VB.net for the past 2 years. I have decided I would like to start learning C++ but I'm not sure of its future in the .NET platform and how C# fits into this picture, I've read many things varying from C# is to be dropped to C++ is to be dropped and Windows to be ported to C#??? This doesn't really help me much as I don't want to learn a language only to find it was a complete waste of time. Any help as to which would be a good route would be greatly appreciated. Stick with VB.net, learn C++ or C#? Would C# also help me have a better understanding of C++ applications should I ever come across them?
