Validators!
Apr 22 2010 4:03 AM
Hi,
I am new to this forum, and Validators as it happens.
What I am trying to do is that I have maybe 6 text input fields and some drop downs. There is a 'Required' and 1~2 other validators on each of these inputs.
Problem is the screen is getting flooded with errors when nothing is entered.. Is there a way to prioritise the errors so that only 1 per field is displayed? Or better still to have an overriding page validation that validates/displays errors for all the page where i can then return 1 error per field at a time.
Ideally this would be client side! Perhaps I am missing a trick here?
Thanks in advance.
