Updating to Windows 10

Hi,

I have been using Windows 7 in my Laptop (configuration below).

Will it be a wise decision to upgrade it to windows 10, depending whether it will affect or slow down my system.

Also, my windows 7 is a genuine copy but I no longer have the key so if during upgradation the system asks me for the key then I won't have any .

Laptop Configuration:

HD - 500 GB

RAM - 4 GB

Processor - i5, 5th Gen
