Unable to use any short-cut keys

Hello All

I am unable to use any short cut key in dot.net 2008. For e.g if i press ctrl+ v it shows me following message on status bar (the key combination ctrl+v is not a commanad.I don't know what happen it is showing this from last three days previously it was working fine.Please help me as feel handicraped because i am unable to use any shortcut keys
