i am trying to deploy my webapp inside IIS. i am using win7 x64 ultimate and visualwebdev 2008 express. i followed a guide on listing your site inside iis. the thing is, when i click on "test settings", i get a check on authentication but a warning (!) for authorization (cannot verify access to path).
i am able to locate the website using visualwebdev when choosing files to open inside iis, but i am getting an error now ( i was able to open it before i remove the listed site and listed it again, strange, also it says you need to install iis components, but i am pretty sure i have everything installed).
i was getting this error: "unable to start debugging on the web server". i looked it up on the web and found this >> [url]http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814717[/url]
strangely enough i cant find the file "WebApplicationName.csproj.webinfo"...
how can i fix this? and what's the proper way of deploying a visualwebdev 2008 website using iis on a win7 machine?
