Tracking Order code in MVC

hi frnds,
Am currently working on shoping cart(using asp.net mvc)..in this online shoping site i need to implement a functionality of order tracking.to know the order status.by this functionality cstomer can track and ckeck their order status in the site....

please help me...how can i incorporate this functionality in my site...

please give me some idea/source code to do this....
