Trace not working

Question

Hi all I am new to C#, wanted to make a debug framework for my app, made a small application which printed messages using trace, now when i try to use Trace, it says namespace name Trace not found, even though i have the namespace System.Diagnostics at the beginning, is their any property setting that i need to make to get it running, would be grateful if you can reply at the earliest Thanking you all in advance Siddhartha
