To count the columns values

Question

Hi,

 

   I need a sql query to count the values in the columns based on their items .
 

  For example 

     

Col A	Col B
Shop 1	Table
Shop 1	Table
Shop 2	Chair
Shop 1	Chair
Shop 2	Table
Shop 1	Chair
Shop 2	Table
Shop 2	Chair

 

 And query to give output as 

 

Name	Table	Chair
Shop 1	2	2
Shop 2	2	2
