Ticker for local RSS feed

Question

Hey, I'm trying to create a RSS ticker for a bulletin board application ive created. It uses Adobe Coldfusion to query a database and convert the result into a xml rss file. There is plenty of rss tickers out there but they seem to be going out to the internet to do some other task. My xml file is on a shared drive on out Intranet and every ticker just doesn't seem to run. "Could not find feed" errors etc. Any help out there?
