The database is not accessible. (ObjectExplorer)

Hi everyone,

I am using Sql Server 2012 edition, when I want to open any database from Management Studio it shows an error "The database codeXDB is not accessible. (ObjectExplorer)".

The problem was occurring when I had created a new User Account in windows, and the problem arrises and now I had deleted my old user account but had kept the data as backup.

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue. It would be really appreciated.

Hey Devendra
There might be any software glitches, take the backup of your database from the physical path located at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA

then reinstall the Sql Server again, then try attaching all your database.

try running in administrator mode, to do that
right click on SQL Server Management Studio and select run as administrator

Go to > Security > Logins > Right click to the user > Properties
On the left navigation move to > User Mapping > Check the database and in the "Database role membership for: <>" check "db_owner"

Or just restart the SQL service, sometime it also helps
