Texbox Retains value if you refresh the page

Question

Hi,

 

I have one text box and one button. i enter some text in the textbox and click the button and refesh the page. The entered text is still present in the textbox.

Why this text box retaining the value even after postback? The same case happen even u set EnableViewState = False;
