Task schedular problem
Aug 27 2008 2:39 AM
Hi,
I have tried to schedule Expireproperty.exe, one of the console application to runautomatically in
WXP and Windows Server 2003 enterprise edition service pack 2
. When I click on Scheduled Tasks and the Wizard comes up, I click on Expireproperty.exe, click next, click daily, click next, click time, click next then the User name comes up and I enter and confirm a password, click next. It then tells me I have successfully scheduled the following
task. Click finish. However, when I click finish, I get the following
message: The new task has been created, but may not run (which it doesn't)
because the account information could not be set. The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied. Try using the Task page Browse button to
locate the application.
Expireproperty.exe is already listed in the Task Wizard, which I clicked on, but I tried'Task Page Browse' as suggested and there is nothing located for Expireproperty.exe. Any help or suggestions please.
Regards,
Ambika.k
