taking default file images....

hi there....
when i am taking a file from the hard drive i am display the file name in a label...now what i want is...
I want to display the file image along with the name....like suppose if it is a .dll/.txt/.doc file or even a folder...i want the respective image that dipict that type of file...
I guess thouse images are some where in the system only....but where it is....is it somewhere in registry(wild guess)
give sum light....
